JESSE. SOB. <3<3 I just … god, I love Jesse so much. So much heartbreak, whyyyyyyyy.

I love Vienna Teng and this song is a really haunting and beautiful one for Jesse. I love how this vid is non-linear -- starting with Riley's death, then Derek/Jesse in the past, then the future/sub, then back to Riley -- I think that it works really well, circling back around on itself like that. And I love love love how you portray Jesse's conflicted feelings for Derek -- in love with him, but also no longer trusting herself to be in love. It's one of the reasons I find their relationship so fascinating.

This is basically everything I love about Jesse and just … I will probably think of more to say later but right now I'm basically stuck on JESSE. SOB. HEARTBREAK. JESSE. <3<3 (I just want her hopes to not be dried up, is that so hard show!!!!) (Which, yes, especially considering the show has been over for ages, but just SOB.)

Oh, Jesse. This is such a perfect, gorgeous, heartbreaking song choice. The structure works really well too, like a little tour through the Riley and Derek heartbreak (oh Jesse whyyyyy) before coming back to Jesse and Riley and the time jump for "the only way out."

Oh Jesse indeed. This was heartbreaking. Such a lovely song for Jesse, and this vid had such a perfect, but devastating sense of inevitability and hopelessness. Beautiful.
