I am just working with the tools that the show gives me ok, and what they gave me was an "I'm a boy!" baby name tag with a slot for the mother's name, rendering mother gender neutral in this specific instance because it means recipient. OR SOMETHING, IDEK, I HAVE BECOME WEIRDLY INVESTED IN THE RECIPIENT = MOTHER, BLAME MY CRAZY VIDDING EYES.) Oh wow!!! What an amazingly creepy look at the way this show looks at the vulnerability (and lack thereof) of children (and other things that get cared for, like animals and robots). The song choice was perfect!
