This is awesome - disturbing as hell, but you did a great job portraying these characters.

This is such an interesting song choice, and I love all your lyric interpretations. I love the parallels and overlaps you draw out in this, and how the vid goes through some of the big narratives and events on the show, and draws them back to Derek and Cameron. Who, when you think about it, are kind of the only two people to really know each other in both the future and past, without filters. The section with Derek and Cameron's chip gives me little chills. The whole thing is creepy and slightly off-kilter, yet compelling.

Oo, I never before realized that Derek possibly knew Allison (the timeline we see at the end of Born to Run is not our Derek's timeline), and thus very likely is seeing/remembering her when he looks at Cameron. No wonder he has such a hard time settling into any sort of provisional working relationship with her. He is all too aware of what her creation cost -- he carries those tattoos himself -- and worse, who paid that price.
